Off to a great start this month at the Excel Jiu Jitsu Academy Oceanside!

Jiu Jitsu could be considered the ultimate workout in that, you will work the physical attributes of strength, speed, stamina, & flexibility as well as the mental attributes of focus, patience, and will power.  But to top it all off, you will have to fend off an opponent that is coming after you, so you will be tested, challenged, and at times, humbled.  But ultimately, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is super fun and extremely rewarding!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

 Leg Lock 2 hour, mini seminar this Saturday, Nov 30, 1:30-3:30 at the Excel Academy.

First half will cover the basic Straight ankle lock, going over grips, positioning, mechanics, and entries.

Second half will cover defenses and escapes from a variety of leg locks including the heel hook, knee bar, toe holds, and knee compressions.

Open to members $25, and non-members $40.
