We had the honor of having Marco Alvarado (won last years IBJJF No-Gi World Championships at Brown Belt) as a guest instructor at Excel Jiu Jitsu MMA Oceanside. Awesome No Gi BJJ class!
Learning the Jiu Jitsu 'language' happens one class at a time. It's best to learn Jiu Jitsu in little chunks. There is so much to learn. Learning the Martial Art of Jiu Jitsu takes a long time and that is why it's best to set goals to keep motivation high and keep dedication strong.

Marco Alvarado taught a very technical No Gi Jiu Jitsu class last Thursday, April 9th, that put all the techniques in sequence and together in a system, that made it a lot easier to retain the information.
"It's important to stay focused and keep an open mind when it comes to learning BJJ."
