Tough class! started with a vigorous warm-up then drills on the ground then takedowns, technique and drills. More drills on the ground the timed sparring interspersed with conditioning work!

training, Ben Ryan Visits, Stripe Promotions, Thurs Feb 17

Another Great Class! Worked on Standing Grappling with Positioning, Grips, takedowns and Guard pulls! then Side Mount attacks! Also, some tough sparring at competition pace!

Ben Drove 2 hrs to come train with us. Trained hard, then drove 2 hrs to get back home! Thanks Ben for the visit!

Ray started the class off with a vigorous warm up, then he and I taught takedown techniques with lot's of reps and drills for 45 min. then Ray reviewed an entry to the Knee on Stomach position that we did earlier in the week then went on to teach a couple of attacks from that position

Instead of regular sparring, we did conditioning sparring drills with lot's of exercise in between to get ready for tournaments!

Great Class! We worked a sequence of passing the Guard to side mount control to attacking knee on stomach and ending with choking our opponent!
